Like most of my music up to this point, this album is largely improvisational, i.e., created as I go...

I wanted to try and stay within the "style" of popular notions of western orchestral music just to see what imposing severe limits would bring out.

I used almost exclusively my wonderfully old and seriously outdated Emu Virtuoso for all of the instruments except the voices from my Emu Proteus 2000. Also, my lovely opera singer Megan Roth played the solo violin on Inside the Outfluence and Ashes Ashes...
