All original material for an adaptation of Charles Dicken's NICHOLAS NICKLEBY.

Lots of reoccurring themes going on...

The designers wanted a blend of orchestral music to be used as underscoring and then some heavy processed guitar music that they could then blend with industrial sounding machinery to be used as transition music between scenes. Although the play takes place prior to the industrial revolution, the designers wanted to move it forward in time to just prior to add that impending sense of something coming over the horizon... a paradigm shift waiting to happen... the coming revolution would be a constant presence to the world of the play and weigh on the characters as they move through the world.

I had a great time doing this score! It was a big challenge for me and I look forward to doing more!
