DREAM OF THE WITCHES SABBATH

from Birth Rights II by Gregory Francis and Adam McLean

/

about

Malachi Francis handled a large chunk of the lead guitars on this one... he echoes his father's voice and brings in the tune and plays it out... how awesome that a father and son can collaborate musically!

lyrics

DREAM of a Witches’ Sabbath

A plan to lift him up from grace
As beams of sun from place to place
Shone throughout the forest all around
All alone in a jungle breeze
A sad man fell upon his knees
And cried for one with which to share his life
So a plead was made; A request fulfilled
- - - A glassy black stare; A dare from Hell
And sent to him the one to cast him out

…and the End Times shall come to pass
A kettle full of lies
In a DREAM of a Witches’ Sabbath
All fall to quick demise who fail to recognize the GUISE.

Cold stone walls the rewarding end
For the reapers of an age-old sin
The original lust has still not gone away
The Heights were plainly in their sights
But they turned away in prideful spite
To watch the Dreams of Dust be boiled away

…and the End Times shall come to pass
A kettle full of lies
In a DREAM of a Witches’ Sabbath
All fall to quick demise who fail to recognize the GUISE.
“Oh, and they dare not recognize me this time…”

Close your eyes and feel your way
Gain everything and give it away
I am awake

the forest all around
one to share his life
one to cast him out
Blind to all but what they see
The original lust has still not gone away
the Dreams of Dust boiled away
but I am awake and I give it away

Blind to all but what they see
They spend their lives in misery
They have touched the Hear of Sin and lost their way.

Dreamt and left in the winter of 1986 by Gregory.
Resurrected by Adam, David, and Malachi in the winter of 2012
Two months before the end of the world, they say…
